The Practical & The Magical

We like practical stuff.  So we totally agree with the “regular” self help tips such as:

a)      removing bananas from the bottom of your locker or the back seat of your car to diminish all possibilities of your belongings having that disgusting perma-stench

b)      cutting your toe-nails squarely to avoid painful (and ugly) in-grown toenails

c)      moisturizing on a regular basis

BUT we also really like the magic.  This week’s magic?  Some tips for the COLOR file:

What are some words that come to mind when you see RED?

Fire… heat… passion… anger…

Red is the color of rubies and blood.  It is said to increase heart rates!  So… if you want to raise someone’s blood pressure, try throwing something red into the mix. 

What do you think of when you see BLUE?

Blue is associated with water… ice… skies… tranquility… truth… coolness.  Light blue is often the color put into places to inject some calm.  What does this mean for you?  Well… because some people see it as a “reliable” color, this might be a good color choice for a suit for a job interview.
